Hi friend,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a brilliant start to the year, and feel all refreshed from a nice break. 2023 is already shaping up to be Tutti's best year yet.
Our team took a much deserved break for the latter part of December, but still managed to get a bunch of solid work done during the month. And Seedrs transferred us the funds, so the fundraise process is almost complete.
Key updates:
- For those in London, we have an investor community meetup on the 18th Jan at Toulouse Lautrec. 50% of the tickets are already taken! If you're in town, come meet some of the team, see one of our brilliant spaces, and chat to other investors of Tutti. Hope to see you there.
- Tutti was selected as one of 24 marketplaces to watch in 2023 by TechRound.
- Raise was announced by 2 online news hubs:
- Software goals are becoming more focused:
- Rolled out part one of “Tutti Pay” - a simple way for our hosts to manage all their payments, from anywhere, not just our marketplace
- Rolled out significantly faster SEO friendly pages
- One of the key things holding us back in terms of SEO was page performance (speed). We spent December optimising our blog and list pages for load speed.
- Before optimisation, our page performance scores were (out of 100):
- 15-25 on mobile, and 40-55 on desktop.
- We've increased them to 55-70 on mobile and 92-98 on desktop.
- We won't see effects until Google has crawled our pages and discovered this improvement, but in the next few months we should rank higher and get some significantly increased traffic because of that.
- Team:
- Jenny Holden of Chorus Comms came highly recommended, and got us our raise announcements within a couple weeks of starting work in December, and is now working to help us share a number of case studies about Tutti and our partners.
Asks
-
Do you know any online publications that would be interested in writing about us?
- We have a press release for our raise
- Soon, we will have a press release for a case study on how we've helped one of our venues: Toulouse Lautrec
- If you can point us in the right direction or make any intros, let me know.
-
If you invested more than £20 and want some Tutti swag, please reply to the form in my previous email.
Our partners Immersive LDN had to close their Gatsby Mansion (where we hosted our crowd launch party). But now they have a brand new immersive show: Peaky Blinders: The Rise, at a new location in Camden. You can rent these stunning premises outside of show times!
Follow ups to what we mentioned last time (lows or highs):
- The payment tests we were struggling with last time are still continuing... But luckily we were able to make significant progress on other things in the meantime.
- As promised, we sped up SEO focused pages significantly (as mentioned above)
